In the heart of the lakes and waterfalls of the Jura and on the doorstep of the Nature Reserve of the Haut-Jura, the “l’Auberge des 5 Lacs” offers you the possibility to rent 2 wooden chalet-type country cottages. Built from spruce wood of the Haut-Jura, our cottages answer the need for true comfort but also with ecology in mind. They are independent and are graded 3 épis Gites de France (national classification).  In any season, be it in summer or in winter, for a welcome weekend break or for a week or more, bring your family and come and experience the intimacy of a house in harmony with its preserved natural environment.

You no longer need to squash your family into small holiday apartments!
Our independent cottages measure 58m2 and are designed to comfortably house 4 people. Their full southern orientation enables you to enjoy perfect luminosity and to enjoy the beautiful natural sights right outside your window of the lookout-point over the 4 lakes and of the mountain peak “Pic de l’aigle” (peak of the eagle).

Characteristics: single storey, our country cottages are specially equipped with doors of 90cm for the passage of wheel chairs and with a walk-in shower “flush to floor level”, making them user-friendly for guests with reduced mobility.

The living room
With its corner couch, the television set (with 6 channels) and DVD player is a room made for relaxation whether to play board games with the children or to curl up with a good book or simply to spend time together as a family.

The wood burner
The wood burner stove located in the middle of the cottage ensures an effective and ecological heating of the entire building. Wood is provided free.

The kitchen
Vast kitchen nook with an oval table and 4 chairs, it is very well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, special oven to make “raclette” (melted cheese speciality of the Jura), micro wave oven, etc. , comfortable and functional it can accommodate up to 6 people.

Two bedrooms
Each cottage has a double bedroom for the parents (with double bed) and a room for the children consisting of two single beds; sheets are provided. Should you wish us to make the beds, please request this before your arrival (2 euro per person).

Baby equipment
with a portable fold-up cot, a changing mat, a small bath-tub and high chair.

Bathroom/toilet
Interior done in wood. With a level walk-in shower, hand basin, storage cupboard and hairdryer. Separate toilet.

Terrace
Each cottage has a partly covered terrace surrounded by greenery with garden furniture, parasol, sun loungers and barbecue. Garden.

Special package deal
For a truly relaxing holiday, we offer our special cleaning package - "beds made on arrival and cleaning of the cottage at the end of your stay".
